With each month that passes, Suzybeez is becoming more popular...(yay!!) ☺ We are booking up extremely fast even with the additional staff that we now have. That being said, it is often necessary to place your order up to 2 weeks or more in advance. This time of year with graduation and summer being wedding season we can book up even further than two weeks out. Please plan ahead!! Even if you aren't exactly sure on the details, as long as you get your order in with your deposit, you are covered!! As much as we would love to do every cake every time, we are a small bakery and cannot accomodate everyone. :(
When ordering a simple design round, square or sheet cake:
Normally the details for this sort of order can be figured out via e-mail or telephone. Any pictures or ideas that you may have can be emailed through this website or directly to us at: suzybeez@yahoo.com Please allow us time to research your request and respond back. You don't want to wait until the last minute. Our weekends are sometimes booked weeks in advance!! :)
Because our designers/decorators are normally busy baking and/or decorating during most of our business hours, they are not always available to assist with your order and you may need to set an appointment. However, all of our employees are trained to help assist you in ordering your cake and it isn't always necessary to discuss it directly with a designer. A deposit of 50% is required on any order exceeding $50.00
For ordering a wedding cake or other elaborate design cake(3d carved etc):
The best way to go about ordering a custom wedding or 3d cake is to call or e-mail requesting an appointment with our chef. She will then sit down with you at the bakery and help create you dream cake on paper. No appointment is neccassary if you already know the design you want and can email a pic to us.
Once a cake map and contract have been completed, a 50% deposit is required for the order to be scheduled.
We like to have custom cake and cupcake orders at least two weeks in advance if it is for a weekend and 1 week in advance for a week day. However, we may require more time if the cake is very large or if there are already several orders placed for the same time frame. So to insure that your cake will be ready in time call ahead!! The sooner the better. :D
For ordering cupcakes, cookies, cake truffles, brownies or muffins:
Call, E-mail or come in to order your favorite treats in large quantity or personalized flavors.
We ask for at least 1 week notice for all special orders and may need more time depending on our schedule and how many orders are ahead of yours at the time of placing it. So call ahead to make sure you get what you want, when you want it!!
If you are ordering from the selection that we are currently offering in the bakery, we can usually have them ready for you whenever you want to pick them up and do not require the 1 week notice since we are baking these items daily anyway!!
**A 50% deposit is required on all orders over 2 dozen.
There is a minimum order of 1 dozen per flavor when ordering personalized flavors. (i.e. flavors not being offered that particular week in the bakery)
